Hilarious!! Check it out :D

Ninjabi comes from the combination of the terms “ninja” and “hijabi.” A hijabi is a Muslim girl that covers her hair. The term ninjabi is meant to be a fun way to refer to hijabis in the Muslim culture. The ninjabi in this editorial cartoon is a fusion of this and a Texan identity. She reflects the voice of many Muslims who have experienced discrimination and struggle with defining their identites post-9/11. Currently the cartoon appears every Tuesday in the Daily Texan.

you know whats sad and kinda funny?

When arabs(or people living in the middle east) think facebook is like flickr and their display picture consists of huge a** lips.
retards. hahah. oh and their display names are like "A7la Fagha" or something. Sad sad sad. Then they get mocked like never before. ahhhhhhh

People..CONTIUNE TO TAUNT THEM.

Flickr is just a very good example of how sad young arab people are, how they misuse everything they get. Facebook is going in that direction too.

I think it's the excess free time they have, they should be worked like slaves and get things done. They should start the "flickr police" (they might have that in KSA alreay, haha) and catch everyone misusing a website and send them to the desert to ... I don't know, plant it.

or even better they can make them in a construction site and give a poor guy a day off, that would be interesting!

(p.s. I'm hungry)

good point.

Oh and they aren't that young either. I mean a 22+ year olds have accounts on flickr. Seriously? get a life.

yes yes i agree, we should work them, make them productive.

im hugry also.

Yeah, these sites just get misused. Have you joined the UAEU network yet? (Yes, we finally have one!) It's so annoying how the guys are trying to "make friendship" with the girls...indirectly giving their phone numbers.

But I think facebook can be used wisely if you'd want to. Instead of joining groups like "so, u think ur cute?" (lame-os), and checking out pics of other "cute" ppl and rating them, you could join useful, beneficial groups. Also, it's a great way to keep in touch with people around the world. Let's not forget the graffiti application. Man, that rocks.

Funny thing is facebook isn't blocked or whatever in UAEU. My friends who are in dorms are still using it, and I also used it in the computer lab there today. Is UAEU more advanced than the rest of the UAE? :O

Seher!... I know you!

Flickr is open in the university too, which goes to show.

Do you ever wonder how much more productive students in the university would be if they didn't use these websites? or at least misuse them.
